Welcome to the St James Parish website 

St James Parish Coorparoo is an Augustinian Parish and a member of Brisbane East Deanery, within the Archdiocese of Brisbane.

The Parish of St James acknowledges the Jaggera People of Coorparoo as the traditional custodians of the land on which we live.

St James Parish has been an Augustinian Parish since 22 March 1952. You can learn about the Augustinians by visiting the Augustinian Links section of this website.

IGNITE YOUTH APP - PROMOTING YOUNG PEOPLE’S ENCOUNTER WITH JESUS
Ignite Youth have created an amazing app for young people to help them encounter Jesus and deepen their faith through reflections on the daily readings, a complete Catholic Bible, videos of inspiring talks, and access to faith series. You can download it on the iOS App Store (iPhone and iPad only) by searching ‘Ignite Fuel’. The best part about it is that it’s completely FREE! They will be releasing an Android version when they get enough funding together.
