RCIA:
There will be a break now. The next
meeting will be held on 1 February 2009. 2.
CONVENT PROJECT
Father Dave and
Peter Halpin, Director Centacare Corporate Services, have
finalised the Lease Agreement for use of the old convent by
Centacare Disability Services. Centacare expect to commence
operations there in February 2009. We look forward to their
presence in our Parish Community and to learning more about their
important work. 3.
The next YOUNG ADULTS
gathering will be held in the Priory on Monday 26 January 2009 -
6:00pm for 6:30pm. Please let Linda P know if you intend
coming and what you will bring for a shared dinner.

4. Prayer Group is held each morning prior to 8:00am
Mass (from about 7:30) and lasts about 20 minutes.
5. Adoration including Holy Hour is held every
Tuesday morning after 8:00am Mass.

has recently retired as Emeritus Professor in Philosophy at
Villanova University in the United States. Father Burt has
written extensively on the thoughts of Saint Augustine.

St James's Parish has been an Augustinian Parish since 22 March 1952.
At the moment, the parish is in the care of Father David Austin OSA,
