Mass Times at St James

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday mornings at 8:00am 
Thursday at 8:00am:  Liturgy of the Word or Morning Prayer of the Church with Communion

Saturday Vigil at 6:00pm
Sunday at 7:00am, 9:00am and 6:00pm

Reconciliation on Saturday from 4:30pm to 5:30pm.

Prayer Group is held each morning prior to 8:00am Mass (from about 7:30) and lasts about 20 minutes.

Adoration including Holy Hour is held every Tuesday morning after 8:00am Mass.

Notices

1.  The RCIA JOURNEY has come to an end.
A new RCIA JOURNEY will begin later in the year and  YOU can be a part of it.  
For more information about our parish's RCIA programme, phone Father Brian on 3397 1671.

2.  You are invited to an ANOINTING MASS to be celebrated on Friday, 1 June, at 10:00am.  There will be no 8:00am Mass on that day.  Please join us for a cuppa and home-made goodies in the hall after Mass.

3.  YOUR HELP is needed to change the church decor on Saturday, 26 May, from 8:30am.

4.  A FAMILY MASS will be celebrated on Sunday, 27 May, at the 9:00am Mass.  You and your family are very welcome to join us.

St James's Parish has been an Augustinian Parish since 22 March 1952.  At the moment, the parish is in the care of Father Brian Fitzpatrick OSA, the Parish Moderator.  To find out how you can contact Father Brian, click on The Parish button at the top of this page and then go to the Parish Directory.  You will also find many details about our parish and details of schools within the parish boundaries listed under this heading.  We have also included a short history of the parish in this section.
